Big News: Big Rock expands Performance team

It’s been a hugely exciting time here at Big Rock as we’ve seen the performance side of our business go from strength to strength. This success can be attributed to a combination of hard work and our hugely talented team who work tirelessly to help clients win online. To support this growth, we’re continuing to recruit for talented individuals who bring a unique blend of client and agency side experience and are thrilled to announce the appointment of four new senior hires to the team.

 

AMIT KALYAN

Paid Media Director

Having worked at  Xero for 4 years at the forefront of their paid media team working across the Australian, US and South East Asian markets, Amit has an in-depth knowledge on how FinTech businesses can scale online. Armed with a highly analytical approach to paid media optimisation, he went from Xero to a real estate start-up where he owned the paid media activity and successfully defended market share against the likes of Purple Bricks attempting to enter the Australian Market. Amit has unique insights to how some of the world’s most success starts-ups have scaled their businesses online.

 

Reason for joining Big Rock?

I recently joined Big Rock as I wanted to partner with brands that were helping to solve big problems. With most of Big Rock’s clients in the fintech space, I thought I’d be able to have a positive impact as a result.

 

 

DAVID BURNHAM

Sales Director

I have worked in marketing for nearly 10yrs, starting my career in sales and moving to a planning role within my previous company. In my role I helped create and build the financial services planning team within the company, helping clients to build brand and drive customer acquisition across multiple channels; including online, offline, OHH, TV and Radio. I have joined Big Rock at a really exciting time to help drive their new business on top of some of the excellent clients and work they already have in place.

JO WEBBER

Client Director

Jo is a former Google full-stack digital marketing professional with 15+ years’ experience. In previous roles, she has led the Digital Marketing team at Powerleague. Jo has a wealth of experience in helping market tech focused clients to the UK, US and European markets. She has also been a judge at the UK Digital Experience Awards.

ROBYN AMBERY-SMITH

HR Manager

Robyn started her HR career at RAPP, a large Omnicom media agency, where she gained first-hand experience into the different roles and qualities that go into running a successful creative agency. Since then she has been involved in all aspects of HR from recruitment and onboarding, to performance management and employee wellbeing. More recently she has worked as an HR consultant, supporting creative and media agencies, supporting them with all their people needs.
