Murano's dated branding was failing to match up with their innovative services and the needs of their high profile clients. To bring them up to speed, we transformed their brand identity and web presence with a stylish and interactive website, a stand-out explainer video, a bespoke photo library, and an integrated selling campaign that achieved beyond expectation.

The Challenge

When it comes to matching funds with investors, Murano is one of the most innovative businesses in the hedge fund industry. They asked Big Rock to create an online identity and web-presence that was truly reflective of their forward-thinking business.

The Approach

To reflect their position as innovators within their space, we needed to set them apart, and do so with style.

Knowing they wanted their beautiful West-End location and offices involved in some way, we set about developing a new online identity that incorporated stylish brand assets – that stayed well clear of traditionally corporate and stock imagery – as well as producing a bespoke explainer video and photo library that would live on their site.

The Website 

Their existing website was extremely dated, a far cry from the contemporary feel Murano were looking for.

To take it from behind the times to ahead of the times, we began the process of designing a fully responsive site capable of delivering their key messaging across all platforms and devises.

We mapped out a clear user experience with wireframes outlining our proposal to prioritise the most useful information to the homepage of the site, where users could subsequently click through to find more detail around each subject.

The objective of the website was to quickly and easily allow users to understand Murano’s services as well as increasing the number of leads generated from the site.

The Sales Videos

With a typically time-poor audience of hedge fund managers, Murano wanted a way of clearly and concisely explaining who they are, what they do and the advantages of using their service.

To achieve this, we built a pitch video – in a 3D animated style – that would be used on both the homepage of their webpage as well as distributed to clients as part of a broader social selling campaign.

The Results

Our branding efforts and selling campaign increased their monthly visitors by 130%, time spent on site by 220%, and conversion rates by +78%.
